Music Distribution, a family business founded in 1976, began its journey as a publishing company dedicated to music books. Throughout the eighties, it expanded its range of products to include musical instruments.

In 2000, the publishing business was sold to Carisch, and we decided to focus entirely on the distribution of musical instruments and technology. During these years, numerous leading brands were incorporated.

This expansion continued and strengthened in 2015 when we established a strategic alliance with Algam, one of Europe's most important distributors. In 2021, this collaboration was consolidated when we became partners, allowing us to have an impressive catalogue and a warehouse of over 18,000 m², making us one of the main distributors in Spain and Portugal.

In 2024, we took a step forward in our evolution by becoming Algam Ibérica Holding S.A., which begins a new phase with two divisions: Music Distribution, which is transformed into a division for the retail market, and Algam Enterprise Spain, focused on professional sound equipment, audiovisual and control systems for integrators, installers, broadcasters, and rental companies. With this new project, we fully enter the professional AV world, starting with the Harman Audio Professional catalogue and expecting to incorporate new products in the near future.
